I started this business in 2002 after my first child was born because I wanted to be able to work from home so that I could take care of her, while also doing something that I would really enjoy as a profession--sewing and embroidery!  I remember receiving a personalized baby blanket for my daughter at a baby shower...I absolutely LOVED it!  It was by far the most unique and memorable gift.  So I also wanted to be a part of creating gifts for other new moms so that they could feel what I felt when I received that beautiful embroidered blanket that was personalized with my daughter's name on it.  Each gift that is shipped is treated with the utmost care and attention, as if I was personally giving the gift myself. Back when my business first started all of the blankets were completely handmade and the business was called Blanket Bouquet. A couple years later, I decided to change the business name to Gifts Sew Lovely because we didn't just offer baby blankets alone, but many other personalized gifts.

My business has grown from just selling personalized baby blankets, to also selling many other baby and children's personalized gifts, as well as personalized gifts for moms, dads, grandparents, teens, pets, and more!
